Do have a look at this site.. I had created this site
to provide a window into the world of Tamilnadu, culture and many links to Tamil(zh) Web. This exercise started
when I was serving as one of the secretaries for Tamil(zh) mandram while researching at IIT Kanpur ...now it
may be yet another page on Tamil(zh)!...The website is in English only interlaced with Tamil(zh) poetry and Kural (written
by Tiruvalluvar 2000 years ago). I intend to add more content in Tamil(zh) with English meaning in the future (as and
when time permits!!!) ...
As of now google translation (in Tamilzh and Hindi) is available for the
pages in this website. The quality of the translation may not be good..the author is not responsible for any wrong interpretation.
For correct interpretation use the ORIGINAL (English) version.

Tamil is one of the two classical languages of India.
It is the only language in that country which has continued to exist for over two thousand years. It is spoken today by approximately
65 million people living mainly in southern India, Sri Lanka, Singapore, Malaysia, Africa, Fiji, the West Indies, Mauritius
and Reunion Islands, United Kingdom, United States and Canada. Tamil is the pre-eminent member of the Dravidian Language family
and has one of the longest unbroken literary traditions of any living language in the world.
